Reflect Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Information

This Privacy Policy is subject to change. Updates to this Privacy Policy will be documented in the policy itself.

This Privacy Policy describes how No Translation Layer LLC (“The Company”, “No Translation Layer”, “we”, “us”, or “NTL”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information that you provide to us or that we collect about you when you use our mobile application Reflect (“The App”, or “Reflect”).

By using Reflect, you consent to this privacy policy.

Commitment to Privacy

NTL values privacy and takes the stance that data you generate using Reflect is absolutely yours and does not belong to NTL.

We Do Not Collect or Share Your Personal Data

NTL does NOT collect or store ANY of your data. This includes all of the data types outlined in Apple’s list of app privacy data categories.

Any data generated through your use of Reflect remains local to your device and never leaves your device, unless you choose to export your data outside of Reflect or enable iCloud backups. Any analyses of your data are conducted locally on your device.

No personal data shared with NTL will be given to any third party, under any circumstances. Your data will also never be used by NTL for any purpose without specific and explicit permission.

NTL and Reflect do not engage in ad targeting, data mining, or other activities that may compromise your privacy, and we do not affiliate ourselves with any third parties that do so.

Optional Anonymous Feedback

Reflect may make optional and anonymous surveys and feedback forms available. When you submit a survey, your current Reflect version number (e.g. 1.75.1) and the contents of your survey are sent to us. This is disclosed on the survey so that you may make an informed decision. When you submit this feedback to us, we retain it for our records to inform our development of Reflect. Any interface that allows you to send us information from within the app will be clearly marked as optional and anonymous.

Optional iCloud Backups

Reflect offers an optional feature to back up your data to iCloud. This feature is completely voluntary and can be enabled or disabled within the app’s settings at any time. If you enable iCloud backups, your data will be securely stored in your personal iCloud account provided by Apple. This data includes all entries, settings, and other relevant data you have created in Reflect.

We do not have access to this data, as it is encrypted during transit and at rest by Apple’s iCloud service. The sole purpose of using iCloud backup is to provide a secure and convenient way for you to restore your data if you reinstall the application or switch to a new device. Please note that enabling this feature is subject to Apple’s iCloud terms and conditions and Apple’s privacy policy, and you should ensure that your iCloud account is secure to protect your data.
